Jason Fingerhut is an industry veteran who specializes in the automation of business processes, provides support for organizational structure and reporting, and leads the Claim Leopard team. Jason began his career in 2011, working closely with attorneys involved with – and plaintiffs affected by – the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill. Jason was instrumental in developing individualized plans of action designed to achieve both successful case results and maximize plaintiff awards utilizing a multidisciplinary approach. Jason has since managed various lines of business, always centered around case management and litigation.
Nick Simet obtained a BS in Criminal Justice from West Chester University and an MS in Accounting from University of Massachusetts Amherst. They began a case management career in 2015 and quickly learned to manage economic loss, personal injury, and abuse cases. Nick specializes in information processing, communications, and team coordination. They are responsible for leading the Case Administration staff, serving as the main point of contact to our attorney clients, and personally bakes a dessert for each of our team member’s birthdays.
Heather Porterfield specializes in the complete medical record process and is responsible for the management of our medical records department. Heather is originally from Texas and currently resides in South Florida, where she has a background in healthcare management and education from the University of South Florida. She began her career in 2014 and has since specialized in the intricacies of medical record retrieval, analysis, and supporting evidence validation as well as military processes and requirements, client relations, project development, and structural development and organization. Heather leads the Claim Leopard Mass Tort Medical Records Department.
